'where no one has a past but everyone has a future'
The ROC Church is a Non-Denominational 'Come As You Are' church that has a desire to see the 'captives' set free by the Power and Spirit of Jesus Christ. We are beginning to see what we have longed for - a great move of the Holy Spirit. You will find all types of people at The ROC Church but, no matter what type of people you see, we are real, down to earth, full of love, and we give all Praise to the One who has set us free. There will only be three types of people who feel comfortable at The ROC - those who are in need of help, those who want to help others, and those who desire an authentic manifestation of the Spirit of God. If you fit into these three categories, come check us out and see what God is doing and performing at The ROC.
At the age of 72, Pastor Bob Stark had received the medical diagnosis that cancer would take his life in a few short months. During this time of pain, suffering, and soul searching Pastor Bob stated that God had let him know that He (God) had one additional task for Pastor Bob to perform - plant a church that would go all out to reach the hurting, wounded, grieving, rejected, and addicted. The motto of the church would be, 'where no one has a past but everyone has a future.' The Reflections of Christ Church - The ROC - had our first service in June 2007. Pastor Bob lived to see his dream become a reality and the vision lives on today. The ROC Church is still holding strong to what the original goal and vision of The ROC was.
Our worship and music is lively, the ministering of the Word is anointed, we accept and love everyone, and many of us understand what it’s like to have 'hit the bottom.' We truly understand that love covers a multitude of sin. To whom much is given, much is required. We have been afforded oceans of mercy and we, in turn, want to show that same mercy we have received to others.
We Desire a Habitation of the Holy Spirit Versus Just Having A Visitation of the Holy Spirit.
